A lady approached, who I believe is the store manager and said Sir, next time you come in the store you will need to wear a mask. I again responded and said I have a medical exemption. I again explain that under the law she is not allowed to ask. She then stated that I would need to wear a shield.
She then started storming away saying her sister was a nurse at the Barrie hospital and the medical exemption does not apply to wearing a mask. I reminded her that I was also a human being like her and had the same equal rights that she does. This has been the worst experience for me being in a store and you have lost me as a customer. My rights were violated and this woman broke the law.

I attended this store on the 3rd of March and had the absolute worst customer experience of my life. Starting with when I got to the order desk, I was verbally assaulted by the guy behind the counter for not wearing a mask. I explained to him that I had a medical exemption and could not wear one.
He was very rude then asked me for proof. I let him know that under the law he is not allowed to ask me about my medical history. Even with the large plastic between us and him wearing a mask, he still felt the need to treat me as less than human because I can't wear a mask. I guess it wasn't an issue for him when I was approaching the desk and he was on the phone without a mask on. He only put his mask on about a minute after I was near the desk when he finished his call. The second and worst experience happened at the cash when I was paying for my order.

Worst customer service I had in a long time. I wanted to support the local hardware store, I was so positive going in. However, as soon as I asked for a query I was sent to customer service counter only to be told to go back to the cashier.

I again said no I don't I have a medical exemption. She then started raising her voice and said it doesn't matter and I could still wear one. I told her she is not my doctor and has no right to force or ask me to do anything.
